Elisa is inspired by many different things: actuality, movie, books and of course music, but especially life experiences or facts or stories that have particularly affected her.

Sometimes it can take a couple of hours to create one song but sometimes it takes weeks or months to create just what they are looking for.

The idea is that each single track must have something different to offer from the previous one.

The message that Sense of Creation would like to reach is that no matter how hard a situation can be, there is always a solution, a light, a hope that at the end that can save us all.

“Iustitia” (Justice) is a full latin song where the phrases are taken from the “Divina Commedia” by Dante Alighieri who took from the Bible.

This is one example: bless are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled; and again, bless are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

As in all stories and fairytales, nothing is easy in the beginning, there is always a path that we have to cross, the same as in life.

It is not by chance that “Forsaken Era” starts with a Latin phrase: “Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit” which means: “perhaps, one day, it will be pleasing to remember even this.”

“Misery,” “Sorrow,” “Hidden by the Light” and “Fear” are perfect example of what was just described.

One could not miss songs sung in Italian: “Voci” (Voices) and “Alethea” where only the speech is in Italian.

Elisa also incorporated the extreme opposite: “Open up your mind” is a fully positive tracks and “Doesn’t Matter”, which is very dark uses a whispering section, underlying the feeling of a lost love that was already described in the main vocal part.

At the end , there is a fully orchestrated and symphonic choir track” Deliverance”, which is normally the end of their performance.

As a conclusion, one can say that both their music and lyrics are never trivial, sometimes romantic, but some other times dark and obscure as a reflection of all human fragility and feelings.
